La Sobremessa was completed in 2021 and was a group project. La Sobremesa is a Spanish restaurant that focuses on celebrating cultural craftsmanship and community. The name translates to: ‘when the meal is finished but the conversation is flowing’

 

Neutral colors were implemented to maintain elegance, while pops of color were also incorporated to represent the liveliness of Spanish culture. Hand-painted ceramic plates, painted tiles, pottery, and stain glass; are examples of mediums used to honor craftsmanship. Stucco, wood features, and arches are some traditional Spanish features also used.
